YEAR OF ST. JOSEPH December 8, 2020 to December 8, 2021
On December 8, Pope Francis announced a Year of Saint Joseph to begin on that day and continue through December 8, 2021. The Year of St. Joseph commemorates the 150th anniversary of the Proclamation of St. Joseph as the Patron of the Universal Church.
The Archdiocese of Philadelphia has begun its official observance of this Holy Year. The entire Archdiocese is encouraged to spend this year growing closer to St. Joseph, honoring him, imitating his virtues and asking for his intercession. May this be a year of great grace for all of us as we grow closer to our Spiritual Father.
