UPDATE FROM THE OFFICE OF DIVINE WORSHIP ARCHDIOCESE OF PHILADELPHIA March 3, 2022:
As of Wednesday, March 2, 2022, the City of Philadelphia has dropped its indoor mask mandate with few exceptions. Therefore, there is no need to continue to encourage the use of face coverings for the celebration of the Sacred Liturgy in churches in the City of Philadelphia.
Everyone is reminded of the irreplaceable need to be in-person for the celebration of Sunday Mass.
Those who are sick, have a health risk, or are a primary caregiver, are excused from the obligation to attend Mass on Sunday.
The Invitation and the use of the Sign of Peace continue to be suspended until further notice. Alternate signs of peace should not be arbitrarily introduced.
The distribution of the Precious Blood continues to be suspended until further notice.
The 8 AM Mass will be live-streamed on Wednesdays and Sundays.
